Just wanted to add a picture...

So, my goal for this year is to grow my hair to this length.
I'm going to try and restrain myself from going to Gercey and getting it cut.

BTW, I LOVE this pic.
Were at Hard Rock getting ready for Yas' 26th bday (2007).
It seems as if the 3 of us maturing so quickly.
I miss those 2 hags!

He's Just Not That Into You

Sometimes you just gotta take that line and run away with it.
Run far, far away!
LOL.
It's hard to take but once you do, you'll find so much better peace of mind.
I watched that movie last night.
I haven't read the book but I remember my old co-worker reading that book a couple years ago. At first I thought it was stupid but once I watched the movie, I liked it.
I'll probably end up reading the book now.
It's funny cuz I was chatting with my old high school boyfriend and he's actually the one that told me to watch the movie.
He wanted me to guess which character he was but he ended up telling me.
He felt like he was like Connor, played by Kevin Connolly.
Straight from the synopsis, Connor is Anna's "no-sparks standby" but he can't "get over the fact that he can't have her."
I told him I was like Mary, played by Drew Barrymore.
I just based this on the preview I've seen on television where Mary's friends say, "Myspace is the new booty call".
LOL, more like whoshere is the booty call for me.
After watching the movie I can really relate to Mary since she's
"found an entire network of loving, supportive men, just needs to find one who's straight".
In the end, Mary and Connor get together.
Will I have a "He's Just Not That Into You" ending some day?
LOLing... seriously I am.

Pillow Smacking 2009 ...

Can't wait for Kev to post pictures of our fighting experience.
The annual SF Pillow Fight was a first for me, Kevin and Gil.
I believe Maj went to it last year.
When I heard about the Pillow Fight I absolutely knew I HAD to attend this fight.
I LOVE that they have it every valentine's day.
We were not able to make it to Justin Herman Plaza when the clock struck 6pm but it didn't really matter since the Pillow Fight goes on forever.
So, we get there like at 6:05 and see a massive amount of pillows flying everywhere.
There had to be a couple thousand people, easily.
Kids, Teens, Adults, Older Adults, Wheelchairs... you name it.
I ask Maj, "So, do I just hit anyone?" and Maj responds with a, "Ya".
We pass a family of 4 (mom, dad, 2 kids both single digit aged) and I of course had to hit the little boy of about 7 years old on the back on the head.
LOL.
It felt like a rave walking through the crown... minus the drunks and alcohol part.
It was shoulder to shoulder, no room to breath but everyone was laughing and smiling.
Every time I hit someone I couldn't help but make this shooting noise with a big ass smile on my face.
But smiling the whole time didnt help as feathers began to smother me going in my mouth.
I had a pillow in each hand and tried to hit people and run, but there was no room to run.
I guess my tactics weren't the greatest since I was attacted by 2 guys.
50 minutes of Pillow War was enough.
We were done and ready to go on with the rest of our night.
As we were walking back to the car 29347387493 blocks away I couldn't help but still smile.
Where in the world could you put thousands of people together, laughing, smiling and being friendly for free and with no obligation?
For the 50 minutes I was inside the Pillow Fight square I felt that somehow the world was happy.
Only in San Francisco...
I love this city. It enables me to be who I am.
I know a lot of San Diego people are worried because of some of my kinda ghetto actions that are on grounds of getting arrested... but in all fairness I'm maturing up here.
Out of the house, working, paying my way, cooking up a storm (lol), learning about new people and cultures ... I'm doing it, are YOU?

You are NOT my father...

You are my friend, so act like one.
Do NOT be judgmental.
Do NOT use being "worried" about me as an excuse for commenting about my actions.
Let me DO me.
And if you don't agree with it, so be it but DON'T let that be the basis of my personality.
I am STILL the SAME caring, kind, lover of the free world person I was and always will be.
The things I do don't affect you and should not change our friendship.
Just show me some love and be there to let the good time roll.

26 Years of Loving Life

So, I'm 26 years old now.
Still the baby, always the baby.
Just wanted to recap on my birthday weekend, even if I wasn't such a hot mess at Lime.
Well, lets take it back one week when Tribes, Darius and Rossy came up to visit.
During the last week of January they came to visit.
I did the whole tourist thing with them on Friday night and Saturday.
Took them to the gross, incinerator of a hell hole ... The new BOC (Bar on Church).
We pass out at the hotel after the stupid cab driver doesn't know where to go.
On Saturday I take them to a few tourist spots in the city, you know GG Bridge, Twin Peaks and Haight.
Then the craziness begins at Lime that night.
Don't know how I became such a hot mess that night but I end up stabbing Tribes in the middle finger.
It might have happened after he pulled me away from the hoods of cars I was apparently body slamming on Market Street on our way to the van.
I was probably making a scene since the people eating at Baghdad's Cafe ran up to the window to watch my performance of the final bonus round of Street Fighter.
Were on our way to drop off the SD heads to their hotel and I'm half way out the window yelling at American cars and how I hate them.
Who the fuck does that?
Then on our way back to The Trapper I throw up in a plastic bag that spills all over Rich's hand and on the seat belt too... all this is going on while I yell
"OMG, Save the Dior!"
That in itself is the highlight of all my hot mess nights.
Too bad it wasnt on video and only half of EWM was there.

So, the weekend before my bday totally outshined the weekend of my bday.
Saturday was cool. We had the best spa day ever!
8 of my brothers and I went to Euro day Spa in Burlingame and they totally pampered us.
They closed the place down just for us for a little more than 2 hours.
We were able to bring drinks and food in.
I got the full body massage since I'm the girl and we all decided to get facials after seeing how much younger 1.0 and Mj looked after their Ultimate.
We end up going to Lime that night and for some strange reason I don't end up the hot mess that night.
Kirk steals the crown from me but I did get yelled at by one annoyed Market Street resident.
Of course I won't go down without a fight and my loud ass yelled back.

The Sunday of recovery was hell.
I threw up on the side of the van.
I threw up 2 chicken nuggets on the way back to The Lodge.
I threw up water in front of the Dim Sum restaurant.
I had to sit it out in the van while everyone else got to eat at Toppings.
I slept until the sun went down.
Then had Taco night with my babies.

My actual birthday was alright.
I went to work, had dinner with the babies and watched DH.
That's all I did... I swear.
